Learn, Teach, Flourish, and Resist

"It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
~ Samuel Adams ~

Patriotism is more than a state of mind.  It’s not enough to be an armchair patriot, typing furiously in forums about the latest outrage.  There are actions inherent in the title “Patriot”. We must recognize our responsibilities in order to change the direction our country (and the world itself) has taken. It’s up to us, in our small decisions and deeds, to steer this course back to one of peace, prosperity and independence, secure that our God-given rights are once again inalienable.

The first of these is a willingness to learn.  We have to cast aside our pride and realize we don’t know it all.  Patriotism today is not just an emotion relating to love for a country.  It’s a battle every single day against those who would remove our freedoms.  We must educate ourselves on world events, on the relationships between Big Government and Big Business, and on the twisted agenda that threatens to put control of the entire world into the hands of the minute percentage of psychopaths who consider us serfs on a good day, and vermin on a bad day.

Next is a willingness to teach.  Most of us have a mentor to whom we are grateful.  Those who teach are the real leaders, far above the politicians and the military officers that most look to for leadership.  The people who share their knowledge, patiently repeating the message until it gets through, are the real heroes and the ones who will change the world.  If you have learned it, then you have a personal responsibility to pass it on.  If you know something that will aid others in the fight, there is a moral imperative in place to share that information with others.  That truth will be shared exponentially, and those tenets generally recognized as true will expand to encompass the real story behind the hostile takeover of liberty.

The next responsibility is the willingness to take care of ourselves.  Dependency is what got us into this mess in the first place.  Our society is built on a system that depends on Big Government and the offerings of Big Business for survival. Most people no longer know how to feed themselves if the food isn’t neatly packaged in Styrofoam, a can or a cardboard box.  People are no longer producers, but consumers. People are dependent on Big Agri for food, Big Pharma for health and Big Business for livelihoods, energy sources and entertainment.  In turn, Big Government supplies a large percentage of the people with the fake fiat currency to pay for these goods and services through welfare and other “benefits”.  Dependency on this funding, in turn, keeps people in line – if they don’t follow the rules, they don’t receive their benefits.  Big Government, via the federal governments and the United Nations, regulates independence right out of existence with the many laws and restrictions that clamp down on those who strive to provide for themselves.  They have intentionally created a world that relies so integrally upon them that society would be utterly and completely lost without them.

Finally we all have the responsibility to resist tyranny.  Silence is acceptance of the status quo.  By allowing ourselves to be herded along we become complicit in our own enslavement. It is inherent upon each and every one of us never to accept the unacceptable, because if we do not resoundingly say “No!” we are tacitly saying “yes”.  It might be more convenient to simply grit our teeth and allow the TSA to grope us in the airport but it is our responsibility to make it as difficult and unpleasant as possible.  It might be far easier to look the other way as yet another God-given right is taken away, but it’s imperative to fight it every step of the way.  Many will opt for silence when they see the rights of others infringed upon, merely being glad that this time, they are not the victim of the oppression.  If we don’t stand in defense of our neighbors, then who will stand up with us when Tyranny knocks on our own door?

In 1811, Thomas Jefferson wrote something omniscient:

If we find our government in all its branches rushing headlong, like our predecessors, into the arms of monarchy, if we find them violating our dearest rights, the trial by jury, the freedom of the press, the freedom of opinion, civil or religious, or opening on our peace of mind or personal safety the sluices of terrorism, if we see them raising standing armies, when the absence of all other danger points to these as the sole objects on which they are to be employed, then indeed let us withdraw and call the nation to its tents.

Every threat that Jefferson mentioned is evident today in our own de facto government.  The call has been sounded.

Let us learn, teach, flourish, and resist.
It’s all in a day’s work for a real Patriot.

Monsanto: The Real Cyberdyne

If ever there was a company that embodied evil, it would be the Monsanto Company.
The combination of unfettered corporate greed, a eugenics agenda and corrupt political manipulation forms an unholy trinity that could make Monsanto the real Cyberdyne Systems.  In the Terminator movies, Cyberdyne Systems created the artificial intelligence computer system Skynet, which destroyed most life on earth and forced survivors to live underground.
Proving once again that fact is indeed as strange as fiction, the Monsanto Company could singlehandedly cause TEOTWAWKI (The End Of The World As We Know It).
The History of Monsanto
Monsanto was started in St. Louis, Missouri in 1901 by John Francis Queeny, whose background was in the pharmaceutical industry.  Beginning as it would continue, the first product made by Monsanto was saccharin, a controversial artificial sweetener now banned in many countries for its links to cancer.
Over the last century, Monsanto was responsible for bringing many controversial substances to the market.
·        Saccharin
·        Agent Orange
·        DDT
·        Aspartame
·        Bovine Growth Hormone
Initially a chemical company, it wasn’t until 1982 that Monsanto branched into agriculture, immediately tying the chemical background to the formerly wholesome business of growing food.  Monsanto was determined to improve on nature and by the late 1980s had begun trials with genetically modified crops.
Monsanto and the Court System
Monsanto is no stranger to either side of the courtroom. In effort to eradicate the family farm, Monsanto has taken many farmers to court for patent infringement.  Farms unfortunate enough to be downwind of Monsanto have been sued because of cross-pollination with Monsanto plants from neighbouring farms.  Because these farmers did not purchase seeds from Monsanto, they were “stealing” the benefits of this genetic engineering, and thus, successfully sued until they lost their businesses to the greedy company.
Farmers have incurred millions of dollars in judgements, sometimes even being required to pay for Monsanto’s investigation of their crops and Monsanto’s legal expenses.  According to the Center for Food Safety, the odds are stacked against the farmers. “Monsanto has an annual budget
of $10 million dollars and a staff of 75 devoted solely to investigating and
prosecuting farmers.”

Monsanto has been in the defendant’s seat as well.  The chemical giant recently settled for an undisclosed amount with the residents of Nitro, West Virginia in a class action lawsuit over the production of the carcinogenic chemical 2,4,5-T, an ingredient in herbicides and pesticides, as well as the banned “Agent Orange.”

A group of more than 300,000 organic farmers recently took a page from Monsanto’s book and sued the company because they found through testing that their crops had been “tainted” by genetically modified plants growing nearby. The case, unfortunately, was dismissed.

Monsanto’s Incestuous Relationship with the Federal Government
Part of the reason Monsanto has been so successful in the courtroom has been the company’s incestuous ties to the US de facto government.  Despite the blatant conflicts of interest, Monsanto executives have held Cabinet, judicial and policy-making positions in the Bush, Clinton and Obama administrations.  When you’re sleeping with the enemy, the enemy tends to get away with all manner of crimes.
Michael Taylor:
VP of Monsanto à Deputy Commissioner of the FDA
Roger Beachy:  Director of the Danforth Plant Science Center (paid for by Monsanto) à director of the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture
Elena Kagan:  Obama Solicitor General (when she famously took Monsanto's side against organic farmers in the Roundup Ready Alfalfa case) àUS Supreme Court justice.
Clarence Thomas:  General Counsel for Monsanto àUS Supreme Court justice.
Margaret Miller:  Monsanto supervisor à Deputy Director of Human Food Safety
Donald Rumsfield: Board of Directors for Monsanto’s Searle Pharmaceuticals à US Secretary of Defense
Ann Veneman:  Monsanto Board of Directors à US Secretary of Agriculture
Linda Fisher: Assistant Administrator at the EPA àVP of Monsanto àDeputy Administrator of the EPA
Dr. Michael A.Friedman: Deputy Commisioner of the FDA àSenior VP of Monsanto

Monsanto’s Corporate Bedfellows
Monsanto’s collusion goes further than mere ties with government.  The power-mad and wealthy seem to be magnetically drawn to the company.
Recently, public depopulation proponent Bill Gates bought half a million shares in Monsanto and began “gifting” Monsanto seeds to farmers in Third World countries.  These farmers will be permanently tied to Monsanto, as the self-terminating seeds will have to be repurchased every year.
Monsanto’s Board of Directors has ties to corporate giants such as McDonalds, Cisco Systems, Sara Lee, Lockheed Martin and Proctor and Gamble, to name a few.
Monsanto has sponsored exhibits at Disneyworld and Disneyland.
Monsanto has tentacles in the following companies through mergers and spin-offs:  GD Searle, the Nutrasweet Company, Pharmacia, Upjohn, Eli Lilly & Co., Seminis, Delta and Pine Land Company, and De Ruiter Seeds.
Starving Amidst Abundance
Perhaps the most disturbing issue with Monsanto and their products is the fact that the genetically engineered food is simply untested – we don’t know the full repercussions from eating this stuff.
Animal studies in Europe have proven that animals fed a GMO diet are more likely to suffer from organ failure. The study concluded, “It is unacceptable to submit 500 million Europeans and several billions of consumers worldwide to the new pesticide GM-derived foods or feed, this being done without more controls (if any) than the only 3-month-long toxicological tests.”
Other studies have shown disturbing results like stomach lesions, increased risk of anaphylactic shock, increased antibiotic resistance, and toxins in the bloodstreams of newborns.
We aren’t allowed to be warned about GMOs either.  Although Obama promised labeling of GMO foods appearing at your local grocery store, it’s yet another campaign promise that has never been fulfilled.  The state of Vermont is currently being sued by Monsanto for labeling GMO foods. The FDA has also refused to force GMO producers to label their food.  At this point, the only way you can be sure you are getting your food as nature intended it is to pay high prices for organic foods.
Monsanto has changed the face of world agriculture to the point that each trip to the grocery store results in a lottery of genetic mutations.  Will the tomato that you eat today cause bleeding ulcers tomorrow?  Will the gmo corn that insinuates itself into 90% of processed foods cause your child to have a resistance to antibiotics that might otherwise save her life? Are you missing important nutrients by consuming these foods, causing you to overeat to attempt to satiate your need for vitamins and minerals?
Monsanto has been publicly accused of mishandling toxic chemicals.  Many of the items the company has brought to market have since been banned, which suggests proper testing was not done in the first place.  With all of Monsanto’s criminal accessories in the US de facto government, as well as Big Pharma and other corporate entities, is it any stretch to question the company’s mutation of our food supply?
Amidst all of this genetically modified abundance, wouldn’t it be ironic to perish from malnutrition?

Monsanto Plays Monopoly
With the world’s farms as its gameboard, Monsanto is aggressively taking over agriculture.  As mentioned above, one of the primary ways Monsanto removes the competition is through lawsuits that regular farmers can not afford.
Another tactic used by Monsanto is that of genetically engineering seeds to be self-terminating.  Quite simply, Monsanto seeds can be used to grow one plant.  The time-honored practice of carefully harvesting seeds from plants so that they can be reused will not work with Monsanto seeds because they have been sterilized.
The donations of Monsanto seeds to Third World countries is, then, somewhat akin to the drug dealer who gives his clients a “free sample” for their first hit.  The client has no choice but to come back.
The creation of the self-terminating seed causes a revolving need for more seeds every year.  If plants grown in subsequent years are found to have some residual DNA from previous Monsanto plantings, the farmer knows he will be sued and lose everything.  The farmer is unable to propagate from previous crops.  Monsanto has created a customer who has no option but to purchase from them year after year.
As a method to take over the world, what better way than to control the source from which all food comes?  If the ONLY seeds are one day these modified sterile creations, what happens when those seeds disappear?  What happens if Monsanto stops producing the seeds?  What if seeds become regulated and only distributed in certain amounts to certain growers?
Starvation on a scale more massive than the world has ever seen occurs.
Control is complete and absolute.
This is the ultimate power.

“Who controls the food supply controls the people.”

The Environmental Deception Agency

The Environmental Deception Protection Agency is a federal agency that is charged with the responsibility of writing and enforcing legislation to protect human health and the environment.  Established under Nixon in 1970, the EPA is another one of those agencies that sounds like a good idea, until you peel off the shiny friendly top layer to discover the stench of corruption underneath.
Much like the leadership of the FDA, the most recent administrators have some very questionable ties.
·         Present: Lisa Jackson

If people are judged by the company they keep, then it’s very unfortunate for Lisa Jackson that she was most recently Governor Jon Corzine’s Chief of Staff. (I’m sure we all recall that nasty little scandal in which 1.2 BILLION dollars of other people’s money vanished out of Corzine’s sweaty little hands).

Since taking the reins of the EPA, Jackson’s handling of the Gulf Oil spill has triggered numerous petitions for her removal from the office. Jackson allowed BP to use a toxic dispersal chemical in the contaminated waters, sparking local outrage.

According to one petition, Lisa Jackson failed to alert, or to seek approval from, the communities and people who would be most impacted by the dispersant. As has been noted in an open letter by leading scientists, the people of the Gulf are unwitting participants in scientific experimentation of a massive scale. This is unethical, immoral, illegal and goes against every scientific principle that Lisa Jackson would have learned in her training. She was hired to enforce the environmental laws of our country but instead has knowingly and willfully violated them.”

We’ll discuss Jackson’s disappointing handling of the Fukushima disaster a little further down the page.
·         2005: Stephen L. Johnson

Johnson’s leadership of the EPA was punctuated by several moves so controversial that even the ethically questionable member of the US Congress called for his resignation.

During his confirmation hearing, he cancelled a study he had previously supported – the Children’s Environmental Exposure Research Study – which, horrifyingly, studied the effect of household chemicals and pesticides on small children, and even worse, was partially sponsored by a lobbying group that worked for the large chemical companies.  (Don’t worry – the families were compensated up to $1000 AND a t-shirt for promising to expose their kids to potential toxins for three years.)

With that nasty study out of the way, Johnson continued to wreak environmental havoc by (illegally) hampering 17 states from making their own regulations regarding automotive emissions, bringing him before the Congress again amidst a cry for his resignation. Under Johnson, the EPA made flawed pro-industry regulations that were later overthrown in court.

After his tenure at the EPA, Johnson has been added to the boards of Miracle-Gro and FlexEnergy.

·         2003: Mike Leavitt

Leavitt has no background in science whatsoever.  He earned a BS in economics and business. He worked on numerous political campaigns before he became the governor of Utah.  He became extremely wealthy by starting a large insurance company and also served on the board of directors for Utah Power and Light. Somehow, despite his lack of education or experience in environmental subjects, he was appointed to the EPA in 2003. Environmentalists protested his nomination, citing that he had allowed polluting industries to develop millions of acres of Utah wilderness.

While in charge of the EPA, Leavitt drew fire for using memos written by coal industry lobbyists when issuing a proposed plan to regulate mercury emissions from coal-burning power plants (a plan that critics said was far too lax to have positive effect). Leavitt’s lethargic record for regulating the use of toxic chemicals for fracking was cause for a congressional hearing.

Leavitt subsequently became the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and is now the owner of a consulting group, Leavitt Partners, which assists states in implementing Obamacare.

The EPA and Industry
The EPA has been accused of covering up crimes committed by public health enemy #1, Monsanto, as well as Dow Chemicals.  The EPA’s investigation proved that Monsanto knowingly tainted Lysol (used by moms everywhere to sanitize babies’ toys) with dioxin.  However, no criminal charges have been forthcoming as of this publication.
The EPA also quietly closed an investigation of Monsanto’s twisted cover-up in the Nitro, West Virginia herbicide plant accident that exposed hundreds of workers to deadly carcinogen dioxin, which can still be found in nearby streams and lakes. Despite the fact that this investigation simply disappeared, Monsanto agreed in February to pay $93 million dollars to residents of Nitro in order to settle a class action lawsuit.
The EPA has refused to ban a pesticide made by Dow Chemicals, the controversial 2,4-D, the same substance used in Agent Orange. This pesticide will be used on corn crops that have been genetically engineered to be resistant to the toxin.  Agent Orange causes cancer, hormone disruption, genetic mutations and neurotoxicity and will be soon be coming to a corn field near you.
The EPA has refused a petition to ban BPA in industry, citing a lack of scientific evidence of the negative effects of the chemical. BPA is commonly found tainting canned goods, especially soup, and bottled water that has been exposed to heat. (Author’s note:  It would probably be very expensive for industry to have to replace all those containers with BPA-free cans and bottles.)

The EPA and Radiation Sleight-of-Hand
Our country is currently being inundated with radiation from the Fukushima disaster.  The EPA is right on top of things with their response, of course. First, they promptly closed down 8 of 18 radiation measuring stations in the hardest hit area, California.  Then, to further calm the good people of the nation, the EPA magically changed the numbers.  They’ve raised the amount of radiation that we can safely absorb and ingest.  It wouldn’t do for the large factory farms to be unable to sell their tainted produce or for the huge dairies to be stuck with all that radioactive milk.
The radiation in our food supply is of so little concern to the EPA that they’ve actually begun to tell us that a little bit of radiation is good for us. According to a report citing the EPA, a bit of radiation can prevent cancer, instead of causing it.
Since our minds can be at ease now, the EPA has decided that they are no longer planning to monitor the radiation levels in our food supply.  They will return to their previous practice of only monitoring random samples every three months.  Yep.  Really.  The Environmental Protection Agency of the United States is no longer monitoring radiation levels in our food and water supplies as of April 14th.  That will definitely keep them from getting those inconveniently high readings that might affect Big Agri’s prosperity.

“I really am horrified,” said Daniel Hirsch, a nuclear policy lecturer at the University of California, Santa Cruz. “It’s quite staggering and it seems to be part of the pattern of the EPA trying to make sure that there are no measurements that could cause people to be concerned.”

In a very clear case of the wolves watching the baby lambs, the EPA is turning over monitoring decisions and responsibility to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

The EPA: Just another instrument of government deceit

One controversy after another can be attributed to the EPA, an agency charged with protecting the air we breathe, the soil in which we grow our food and the water that we drink.  At the bottom of each of those controversies can be found ties to the conspiracies of the big businesses that really run the country.  Decisions are being auctioned off to industry lobbyists with the most money and influence.

Environmental protection is only the rule of thumb if it goes along with Agenda 21 – the EPA is all over the green agenda in cases that benefit the redistribution of wealth, but the agency completely ignores blatant crimes against the earth if it involves fracking for the benefit of a natural gas company.

I used to content myself in believing that if something wasn’t safe, it wouldn’t be used in America, that forward-thinking, technically brilliant land that supported life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Sadly, in the case of yet another federal agency, safety is in the eye of the highest bidder.

Random Acts of Resistance

How does the average person fight the New World Order that is rapidly taking over our government and our country?

It's not enough to continuously educate ourselves through alternative media news sites.  Commenting on patriotic forums is great -- I do it too -- but it's time for real world action.

It's time to bring our A-games and begin actively resisting.  Does this mean that we're all going to get rounded up and hauled off to FEMA camps for "re-education" or worse, to disappear into Guantanamo forever?

Not if we're smart.

I propose a series of  "Random Acts of Resistance" to open the eyes of the masses and to stand firm against the oppression that threatens our liberty on a daily basis.

Refuse all debt.  If you don't have the money for something, don't indenture yourself to the banks to get it.
Close your bank account.  Do not do business with the Big Banks.  If you must have an account, deal with small local credit unions.

"In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility-I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will li...ght our country and all who serve it-and the glow from that fire can truly light the world." - John F. Kennedy 1961

Public Enemy #1: The Mass Media

There is an enemy infiltrating nearly every home in North America.

Even your own.

More than likely, you have invited this enemy into your home, right into your living room.  You've introduced the enemy to your entire family and the enemy is likely someone you all trust.

The enemy is the mainstream media.

The places that most of us trust to get our news are compromised.  They have sold out to the highest bidders and those bidders are the ones who control what we see.

Here are some examples for you:

GENERAL ELECTRIC:  Worth 157 billion in annual revenue, GE owns a large portion of NBC, MSNBC, 22 local TV stations and Universal Pictures

WALT DISNEY: The house of mouse, earning just over $36 per year,  owns ABC, 277 radio stations, Touchstone, Miramax and Pixtar.

NEWS GROUP: This 30 billion dollar a year entity owns FOX, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, TV Guide, Barrons, and Smart Money, not to mention 20th Century Fox and HarperCollins Publishing.

TIME WARNER: Bringing in a cool $25 billion per year, Time Warner is the largest media conglomerate in the world.  They own: CNN, HBO, Cinemax, America Online, TBS, TNT, Warner Brothers Pictures, and more than 150 magazines, including some particularly respected ones like Time, Fortune, and Sports Illustrated.

VIACOM:  At a "mere" $13.6 billion a year, Viacom owns Global, MTV, VH-1, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Pictures.

CBS Corp:  And rounding out the Big Six with an annual income of $13 billion per year, CBS owns, obviously, CBS, as well as Showtime, CBS Radio and book publisher Simon and Schuster.

So lets look at this with a neutral eye for a moment.  None of these outlets are present for the good of the people.  They are worth billions and billions of dollars.  They are the king of all special interest groups because they want to keep those billions rolling in.

Look at how much airspace is covered above.  Every major news outlet in North America is part of this elite group.  The TV programs and movies that color our perceptions and opinions through popular culture are in these groups.  Everything you listen to is programmed by these elite special interest groups with extreme bias towards their own pocket. Their slant is what ever the government regulators tells them it is.

If you had billions of dollars coming in every year, and the ability to jaundice the public eye, who trusted you and believed what you said, would you be looking out for your own best interests or everyone else's?

If you could sway public opinion by simply NOT PROVIDING THEM WITH INFORMATION and it would help keep those dollars rolling in, would you do it?

If you could select the next President of the United States, thereby keeping on the good side of the White House, merely by PROVIDING BIASED INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC, would you do it?

If you could decide what the people should know and what they shouldn't, therefore changing their perception of current events, would you do it?

Further analysis of the Big Six media companies makes it very clear why they have a political agenda.....the almighty dollar, of course.  If the wrong candidate claims the presidency, literally BILLIONS of dollars  can be lost during the course of his or her administration.  The Boards of Directors of these companies also have a vested interest in furthering their own ends.  Media is power.

The media has now become a monster of propaganda, sharing what The Powers That Be want the people to know, skewing public perceptions of reality and persuading them that all things are done benevolently in their own best interests. The investigative journalist putting his or her life at risk to inform the public is now an almost mythical creature found only on a few alternative news sites and in the unicorn forest.

The people of America are being misled and manipulated by the special interests of the boards of directors of these companies.  It's an incestuous spiderweb of the theoretical "1%".  Policies that serve the best interests of these rich and powerful people are not the policies that serve the bests interests of the rest of America.  But because these are the people that sign the paychecks for the network employees, they are also the people that call the shots.  The ties to government, big banking and global policies like Agenda 21 are clear.  The principals in the race for a new world order are all present, and with the help of the weapon of media, they plan to take over the world by controlling the thoughts and opinions of the people.

General Electric, the biggest of the Big Six, is heavily invested in military manufacturing.  The company produces the engines for many planes, tanks, and helicopters, including the F-16, the UCAV, the Abrams tank and the Apache.  A cut in military spending would not bode well for the profit of the company.  GE needs a warmonger in office to keep them rolling in blood money.  The Board of Directors includes Jeffrey Immelt, the head of President Obama's Economic Advisory Committee; former US Senator Sam Nunn, who is also the CEO of The Nuclear Threat Initiative; Rochelle Lazurus, also a director of Merck and Co pharmaceuticals; and James Tisch, who also serves on the board of New York's Federal Reserve and chairs the board of governors for the Jewish Agency for Israel.

Walt Disney is really specific to the entertainment sector.  Disney sells media entertainment, toys and travel.  Disney needs the money to continue flowing through second mortgages and unsustainable lending practices to continue their success.  Disney sells 100%  "wants"......if the Fed was forced to stop printing money at will, flexible spending would grind to a halt almost immediately. Many of Disney's board members have close ties with big banking, meaning they are the ones who help sink people into debt by offering them more and more "credit", miring them deeper into debt slavery.  John S. Chen serves on the board of Wells Fargo; Fred Langhammer is on the boards of AIG and Shinsei Bank Ltd.; Monica Lozano is a director of Bank of America;  Robert Maschullet is the former CEO of Morgan Stanley Investments; and Sheryl Sandberg is the former Chief of Staff of the US Treasury Dept. and an economist with the World Bank.

News Corp, Time Warner, CBS and Viacom, the other members of the Big Six, are invested solely in media and entertainment.  Much like Disney, if the fiat money dries up, these companies are toast.  If people are struggling to feed their families, they aren't too likely to spend money on things like cable television and movies.

The VIACOM board of directors include such big names as Alan Greenspan, former chairman of the Federal Reserve, sports magnate Robert Kraft, and Sumner Redstone, who is also the primary stockholder in CBS.

News Corp's board of directors is equally illustrous in it's connections.  Natalie Bancroft hails from the Dow Jones empire; James W. Breyer serves on the board of Wal-Mart;Viet Dinh, formerly of South Vietnam, whose colorful resume includes his stint as the US Attorney General as well as masterminding the USA Patriot Act; James and Lachlan Murdoch, sons of Rupert Murdoch who was notoriously accused for unethical journalism practices and brought before the English Parliament in 2011; John L. Thornton is the former CEO of Goldman Sachs and on the boards of Ford Motor Company, Intel, HSBC and China Netcom.

Time Warner has a board of directors with many global connections......for example:  Jessica Einhorn has served as an advisor for the IMF (International Money Fund) and held executive positions at the World Bank and is currently also a director at the Center for Global Development; Stephen Bollenbach is also a director of the Los Angelos World Affairs Council; Frank J Caufield is also a director of the US Russia Investment Fund and the founder of KCPB, one of the biggest venture capital firms in the US; and Mathias Dopfner, CEO of Germany's largest newspaper.

CBS of course, is headed up by Sumner Redstone, who, as mentioned earlier is also the primary stockholder in Viacom.  Some of the powerful directors of CBS include former congressman and Secretary of Defense William S Cohen; chairman emeritus and director of Bank of America Charles K. Gifford; and Joseph Califano, who served as President Lyndon B Johnson's Assistant for Domestic Affairs, and later as the US Secretary of Health, Welfare and Education.

This is why you can't trust what you see on the mainstream media.  The "news" is now all a propaganda ploy to help the rich get richer and the powerful remain in power.  The media can make or break a candidate with unholy zeal in less than a week.  These people and others like them are the ones that decide what "we the people" get to see.  If they feel like a candidate or a news item might upset the status quo, they black it out by refusing to cover it.  (Ron Paul and Occupy Wall Street are two prime examples of this.)

What can you do about this?

When you see coverage that is clearly biased, take a moment to call out the media about it.  Take the time to comment on mainstream media websites and point out the unbalanced coverage.  Promote alternative news outlets and always, always research for yourself to find the truth of the matter.  Write letters to the editor of your local paper, tell everyone you know and make your voice heard.

Tell everyone you know that mainstream media is the enemy of the people.
