Famous Last Words

For me to analyze the history of violent silencing of rebellion against the Powers That Be would be redundant.

The Establishment has the power and intends to keep it by any means necessary.

The following information speaks for itself.

“Wait til they see what happens March 1st.”
~ Andrew Breitbart, who died hours before releasing damning video evidence about President Obama.

"There exists in this country a plot to enslave every man woman and child. Before I leave this high and noble office, I intend to expose this plot."

~  President John F. Kennedy - 7 days before he was assassinated.

"We have been forced to a point where we are going to have to grapple with the problems that men have been trying to grapple with through history, but the demands didn't force them to do it. Survival demands that we grapple with them. Men, for years now, have been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence."

~ Dr. Martin Luther King - the night before he was assassinated

Are we like the God of the Old Testament, that we in Washington can decide which cities, towns, and hamlets in Vietnam will be destroyed? Do we have to accept that? I don't think we do. I think we can do something about it.

~ Robert Kennedy, in his last speech to the US Senate before he was assassinated

When you begin to start thinking for yourself, you frighten them, and they try and block your getting to the public, for fear that if the public listens to you, then the public won't listen to them anymore.

~ Malcolm X, the day after an attempted firebomb assassination and 7 days before he was successfully assassinated

The death toll continues with ordinary people who had the extraordinary courage to speak out...

Nine everyday people who spoke out about the Gulf Oil Spill:  Chitra Chaunhan, Dr. Thomas B. Manton, Gregory Stone, John P. Wheeler III, James Patrick Black, Dr. Geoffrey Gardner, Roger Grooters, Senator Ted Stevens, Matthew Simmons, Joseph Morrisey, and Tucker Mendoza

Dr. David Graham, 9/11 whistleblower

Christopher Story, journalist covering President George Bush's financial terrorism

Lt. Quarles Harris Jr., a witness for the prosecution in the passport case against President Barack Obama, Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator John McCain

There are many, many more...there is no disrespect intended towards those whose names are not mentioned.  Please feel free to honor them in the comments below.

Finally, one more quote from Malcolm X, which is especially relevant to the topic....

Brothers and sisters, if you and I would just realize that once we learn to talk the language that they understand, they will then get the point. You can't ever reach a man if you don't speak his language. If a man speaks the language of brute force, you can't come to him with peace. Why, good night! He'll break you in two, as he has been doing all along. If a man speaks French, you can't speak to him in German. If he speaks Swahili, you can't communicate with him in Chinese. You have to find out what does this man speak. And once you know his language, learn how to speak his language, and he'll get the point. There'll be some dialogue, some communication, and some understanding will be developed.

It's pretty clear what language is being spoken to us.  It's time for us to communicate.  What language will you choose?

  1. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
