The Mainstream Media: Caught in the Act

Have Americans begun to wake up to the fact that the mass media is nothing but a giant propaganda machine, churning out made-to-wear opinions and cloaking them in a disguise of “news”?

According to the most recent Gallup poll, they have.

Americans' confidence in television news is at a new low by one percentage point, with 21% of adults expressing a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in it. This marks a decline from 27% last year and from 46% when Gallup started tracking confidence in television news in 1993.

 This encouraging decline in public confidence means that people are beginning to see through the blatant manipulation.

Nearly all North American media is owned by one of the five following companies:

GENERAL ELECTRIC:  Worth 157 billion in annual revenue, GE owns a large portion of NBC, MSNBC, 22 local TV stations and Universal Pictures

WALT DISNEY: The house of mouse, earning just over $36 per year,  owns ABC, 277 radio stations, Touchstone, Miramax and Pixtar.

NEWS GROUP: This 30 billion dollar a year entity owns FOX, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, TV Guide, Barrons, and Smart Money, not to mention 20th Century Fox and HarperCollins Publishing.

TIME WARNER: Bringing in a cool $25 billion per year, Time Warner is the largest media conglomerate in the world.  They own: CNN, HBO, Cinemax, America Online, TBS, TNT, Warner Brothers Pictures, and more than 150 magazines, including some particularly respected ones like Time, Fortune, and Sports Illustrated.

VIACOM:  At a "mere" $13.6 billion a year, Viacom owns Global, MTV, VH-1, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Pictures.

CBS Corp:  And rounding out the Big Six with an annual income of $13 billion per year, CBS owns, obviously, CBS, as well as Showtime, CBS Radio and book publisher Simon and Schuster.

This incestuous web of entertainment and “news” influences nearly word or opinion expressed through television, radio or movie theatres.  Movies and TV programs are valuable propagandizing tools because they can affect our perceptions by reaching our emotions and by setting up fictional issues with outcomes designed to make us feel strong emotions like fear, joy or sadness.

People are beginning to see the blatant manipulation of pro-government perspectives in the news.  They are noticing the media blackouts, such as the attack against the Ron Paul campaign.  They have begun to realize that they are only getting a carefully selected part of the story.

So, is it good news or bad news that people are waking up?

It’s both, actually.

On the positive side, this means that the government, the elite and the “Powers That Be” are losing their battle of skewing the American perspective.  People are beginning to see the difference between what is being presented and what is actually occurring.  This awareness is valuable, as it can stand to make those in power more accountable for their actions.

On the negative side, however, this new awareness brings with it an ominous threat.  If we are no longer being “snowed” by the media, what is to stop Obama, the Bilderbergers and the global elite from speeding up the end game?  When a bully realizes that his subtle machinations are no longer subtle, the violence often escalates dramatically because there is nothing left to lose.  As recently as May, the US Congress legalized the use of propaganda against the American people in an amendment to the NDAA called The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012” (H.R. 5736).  By doing this, they have blatantly showed their hand.  They have proven that they do not believe we can be trusted with the truth.

Expect to see things evolve quickly from here on out.   We are under threat of being disarmed through the United Nations Small Arms Treaty discussions.  The Constitution is under constant siege by one Executive Order after another.  The country is economically devastated, unemployment is at record-setting levels and prices for necessities are rising every week. 

There is a strong potential in restless times to regain control through a false flag event, designed to pull the people of the nation together towards a common goal through fear and horror.  This was exactly the purpose of the actions on 9/11, which devastated so many families and brought us the unPatriot Act. 

The wheels are in motion for a hostile takeover of the free world.  Our awareness of this, while helping to prepare us for the fight ahead, also paints a big red target on our foreheads.  When a country no longer trusts its leadership or its information outlets there is no possible outcome that is peaceful. 

When Evil is brought out to the light and recognized for what it is, the stealth attack is over.  The bonds of secrecy no longer apply. Evil has been outed and we are about to see an explosion of tyranny that will be shocking in its swift brutality when the "Powers That Be" seek to squelch the blossoming awakening and subsequent rebellion.

I Spy With My Federal Eye....

We're in the middle of a giant spy game.  If you frequent patriot websites and alternative news sites, you are definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, being tracked.  You are "on the list".

This week, James Wesley Rawles, the "father of the Survivalist movement", released the following statement on his website.

"It has come to my attention that from August of 2011 to November of 2011, the FBI secretly redirected the web traffic of more than 10% of SurvivalBlog’s US visitors through CJIS, their sprawling data center situated on 900 acres, 10 miles from Clarksburg, West Virginia. There, the Feebees surreptitiously collected the IP addresses of my site visitors. In all, 4,906 of 35,494 selected connections ended up going to or through the FBI servers....Furthermore, we discovered that the FBI attached a long-lived cookiethat allowed them to track the sites that readers subsequently visited. I suspect that the FBI has done the same to hundreds of other web sites."

Alternative news sites are all carrying the story, and some preppers and patriots are diving for cover, vowing not to visit these sites again. The disconcerting fact is that  the internet has been used as a tool by the nominal government to follow us, to identify us, and to catalogue us according to what type of threat we offer.

Did you ever stop to think, that is the ONLY reason we still have an accessible internet?

If the Gestapo DHS was not able to use the internet against us, you can bet that it would be locked down.  Already, sites disseminating the truth against these agencies are having myriad Denial of Service attacks.  Search engines have completely changed their parameters, causing government propaganda to show up on the first three pages of any search.  Sites that spread the word, like Infowars, have been "de-listed" from Google, meaning they only show up if you type in the word "Infowars" with any search that you do.

Consider the fact that the "Arab Spring" revolution last year was coordinated almost solely through social media:  Facebook, Twitter, blogs and web forums.  If we know this, you can bet that so do the alphabet soup agencies.  When revolution begins to be coordinated in America, our ability to communicate over the internet will cease.

When the time comes that the DHS Thought Police feel that they have accumulated enough information about us, the 'net will be locked down.  When Revolution occurs, the 'net will be locked down.  The internet is our Paul Revere - our early warning system and the fastest way to spread the word of threats.  As certain sites become more and more proactive, those sites will be shut down.

We only have the internet as long as the Gestapo DHS feels that it is more useful to them than it is to us.

Personally, I intend to use the internet to give the government spies the finger. 

• I will do everything I can to thwart their efforts to track me, including changing operating systems and installing bigger and better firewalls.
• I will continue writing to do my part to spread the word about the takeover from within of the United States government.
• I will continue to visit the alternative news sites on a daily basis to show them my support.
• I will not curtail my activities on the internet one bit. 
• I will continue to dissent and to encourage others to do so.

Go ahead: follow me around the web.  If there's a list (and we all know there is) then I'm already on it.  Changing my habits now will do nothing to remove me from this list.

So, to all you dissident rebel Patriots, use the internet now to gather all of the information that you can.  Make connections with other like-minded folks.  Organize, spread the word and resist, while always keeping in mind that both sides can play at the "dis-information" game.  When the threat of an internet-based Patriot movement outweighs the allure of being able to spy on us, the internet will be no more until we can take it back.

Freedom should not be a radical concept in America.  Fighting for freedom should not be considered a treasonous act.  Voicing opinions of dissent should be welcomed in a country founded on liberty and free speech. The true revolution begins in your own mind.

The Resistance Needs YOU

Not all freedom fighters are decked out in camouflage and armed to the teeth, ready to take on the entire corrupt US government in a bloody fight to the death.

Not all freedom fighters are operating secretly, in little groups, surreptitiously planning ways to undermine the efforts of the NWO and Agenda 21.

Not all freedom fighters fall into the categories of being a grizzled and disillusioned veteran, a crazy young rebel, or a well-groomed statesmen, attempting to get enough votes to be able to implement changes.

If you want to see the Freedom Fighters that will turn America around and take her back to her Constitutional roots, then look in the mirror.  Yeah, you.

It's up to all of us - the regular, everyday Joes and Janes, to take the country back.  The Resistance is going to be made up of soccer moms, grandparents, college students, and construction workers.  The army of the Resistance is you and me - the ones who see what is happening and feel compelled to stop it.

Of course, it's much easier to be an armchair revolutionary, typing "Oooh Rah" on our keyboard in a comment on a Patriot website.  Actually mobilizing to make a difference is more difficult.

The time has come when there must be action behind the thoughts.  No, Men In Black, don't come get me, because I'm not promoting violence.  I am promoting a large collection of voices saying

NO

We have to become the squeaky wheels.  The mainstream media is the enemy and they aren't going to educate people about the reality of what is going on.  We have to make news big enough that they have to cover it in order to answer the questions of the people.  We must use our freedom of speech while we still have it.

Is it risky?  Certainly.  Could it put you on "a list"?  Very likely.  Consider, though, if you are reading this article and others like it, that bell has been rung and you are decidedly on the list of people to watch.  Could I be putting myself and my family at risk for retaliation?  Absolutely - you must be as careful as possible to remain safe.

What it boils down to is this:  No war was ever won, no revolution was ever fought, and no resistance ever succeeded, in which the people did nothing.  Apathy will get you exactly what you are getting now, ever-dwindling freedoms that are given and taken through the machinations of those who are not here to look after the best interests of the people.

YOU are the resistance.  You can choose to do nothing, like a great number of readers will, and just bemoan the fate of the nation, or you can choose to take action.  Even if that action doesn't succeed, every word we say out loud spreads the word of discontent that much further.

Here are some easy ways to mobilize.  Just choose one and take half an hour to fight for your country today:

VOLUNTEER TO AID IN ELECTIONS. 

If there is a vote occurring near you, find out how you can help.  The Republican primaries this year have been nothing but a joke, with  More than a month after the fact, the Iowa caucus results keep getting recounted with different results, South Carolina proved that 953 DEAD PEOPLE  were apparently still civic-minded enough to vote, and FIFTEEN STATES DO NOT REQUIRE PHOTO ID TO CAST A VOTE., leaving those votes open to question as well. As discovered by the Ron Paul campaign, our election system is seriously compromised and many watchful eyes are needed to make sure the rules get followed. 

REFUTE THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA

Instead of simply preaching to the choir on patriot websites where everyone is on the same page already, consider logging on to the mainstream news sites and spreading your truth there.  Use the comments section and spend some time putting seriously considered comments to exposes the lies and the blackouts of the media.  Don't let your message get lost in abusive language or insults, simply take the time to submit a rebuttal to the status quo.  This is one way to get the word out to people who rely simply on the mainstream.

USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO YOUR BENEFIT.

Despite the fact that I spend lots of blog time sharing the pitfalls of Facebook, Google and the rest of the nation's cyber spy system, I consider it to be knowing my enemy.  Many people can be reached through social media networking that might otherwise remain in the dark.  I have over 700 "friends" on Facebook, having lived in a lot of places.  Every time I post a link to a good article on my Wall, those 700 people are exposed to it.  If 10 of the 700 say, hey, that's interesting, and share it, then I reach all of their friends too.  Social Media is a tool that can get the word out in exponential numbers.

If you aren't on Facebook or any of the networking sites, just your own email contact list is another way to share information.  Find a blog that points things out in a way that you'd like to share?  Forward it to everyone on your list.  If you don't want to hit everyone, target the people that you think might be starting to see that something is wrong in this country.

PROTEST

While I'm not 100% on board with the goals (or lack thereof) of the Occupy movement, the thing I am forced to admire is how they MADE the media cover them through sheer volume of the people who showed up.  No matter what awful things the Gestapo police put them through, they continued to stand strong. 

The Occupyers brought a lot of media attention to the abuses of the police and to the fact that their right to peacefully assemble was being denied.

The solidarity of standing with others against injustice is not to be underestimated.  Engage respectfully and protect your safety, and then go out there and say "NO."

BE THE SQUEAKY WHEEL

We've all heard that phrase, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.  Well, be that squeaky wheel.  When you see injustice or trampling of constitutional rights, say something and say it persistently.  You can send emails to all parties involved.  You can send emails to groups who would be likewise appalled by what you've discovered.  You can ask for meetings with local councilmen and law enforcement bigwigs.  You can write letters to the editor of your local paper.  You can make flyers and stand there and hand them out to let people know what is going on.  You can take your local government to court over infractions.  However far and publicly you take it is up to you.  Just remember to engage intelligently and persistently.

DON'T ALLOW MEDIA BLACKOUTS

We've all been witness to the ongoing media blackout of the Ron Paul campaign.  Dr. Paul has been ignored, disrespected and treated as a third line candidate.  Only through the well-coordinated efforts of his staffers and volunteers does he receive the positive publicity given for free to the other, more governmentally cooperative candidates.  Other media blackouts include:

In Sicily the mobilization of thousands of citizens in THE PITCHFORK MOVEMENT (they don't want us to get any bright ideas from the Sicilians)

We can combat media blackouts by making sure the alternative websites get the stories.  We can also inundate the mainstream media sources with emails asking why a topic is not being covered.  We can send email blasts using their contact pages, as well as pointing it out vigorously in the comments sections.


This Resistance to the tyrannists who have overturned the government isn't going to be won by guns blazing and bombs going off.  It is going to be won by everyday people saying

NO

Please share comments or ideas about local ways that people can get involved and bring to light the subtle undermining of our way of life.  Don't be an armchair patriot!  Get involved today - do ONE THING to shed light on a dark evil corner of new fascism surreptitiously creeping it's way across America.



The States Revolt Against Obama

Another quiet revolution is afoot in the United States of America.  State by state, one by one, Obama is being stricken from the ballots as courtrooms declare him ineligible to be the President of the United States of America.

In Georgia, last week, on Thursday, January 26,  a contempt order was issued when Barack Obama failed to appear in court after being subpoenaed.  There was so little respect for the law of that state that his attorney did not appear either. 

Obama's attorney, Michael Jablonski, wrote the following in a letter proclaiming the defendant's refusal to appear in court:

....we will,of course, suspend further participation in these proceedings, including the hearing scheduled for January 26......

Despite the failure of anyone in the Obama camp to appear, the hearing went on as scheduled.   A play by play of the proceedings can be found HERE.  The Cliff's notes version is that the evidence was heard, and with no participation from the defense, appears to be irrefutable.  Judge Michael Mahili has until February 4 to render his decision.

In Alabama, the legal proceedings didn't go as well, as  Judge Helen Shores Lee dismissed the suit, filed by Albert Hendershott, Jr.

Rumour has it that Obama's home state of Illinois will be hosting the next hearing.

Groups are popping up all over the internet to push this envelope.  Join one of them and lend a hand!  Write your members of Congress and ask for a Congressional hearing regarding Obama's Constitutional eligibility to be in, and run for, the Oval Office.

Who Will Fire the First Shot?

Yesterday, we had a little history lesson regarding the Battle of Lexington Green, the first battle of the First Revolutionary War.

Today, I want to talk about the present, where it seems that we are right on the cusp of the Second Revolution.

Take yourself back in time and imagine those early patriots, standing their ground on one side of the bridge against the British.  They were out-manned.  They were out-gunned.  They were not trained.  They were an assortment of farmers and merchants and tradesmen who had just been roused out of bed by the ringing of the church bells, and they were determined to keep the British from invading their settlement, taking their food and disarming them. 

Someone had the courage to fire that very first shot...."the shot heard 'round the world."  Historical accounts are not in agreement with which revolutionary soldier fired the shot....but someone had the courage to do it.  With lead and powder, that man said, "Enough."

Today, our liberties are vanishing at a mind-boggling speed.  There is a lot of hue and cry, but for so many years, we have been conditioned to obey, to follow the laws and to respect authority, that nobody has yet stood up to say, "Enough."

The problem that I see is a lack of leadership and organization in today's Patriot Movement.  Nobody wants to be responsible for firing the first shot in this war...and it is most assuredly war.

The government is plowing over the people like an armored tank over a dirt road, simply driving right over anything and anyone in their way.  They have hardly paused in their hostile takeover of our liberties because we have not yet banded together to stop them.  We have not fought back.

Everyone knows that the election in South Carolina was rigged.  Newt Gingrich had so few supporters there two days ago that he cancelled an appearance and suddenly he was the clear and marked winner?  Everyone knows that despite the fact the Congress has shelved the SOPA bill, they are still censoring the internet, with examples like forcing Google to remove Infowars from it's search engines and disabling commenting ability on some of the mainstream media sites.  Everyone knows that the media is complete owned by the government and special interest groups, thus feeding the people absolutely nothing but propaganda.

And yet, we sit, waiting for someone to fire the first shot.

What are we waiting for?

Are we waiting for the day the Internet goes dark?

Are we waiting for the next false flag event?

Are we waiting for martial law to be declared?

Are we waiting until government thugs show up to seize our guns?

The time is now.  We must fight for our rights before these things occur, because when the streets are lined with American soldiers on one side and ordinary citizens on the other, the loss of life will be tremendous.  The fear of those who have never had a gun aimed at them will be palpable, and the potential for many to bow to an unholy authority will be too great.

We must make as much noise as possible and refuse to tolerate the unconstitutional deeds that occur on a daily basis.  We must rouse our neighbours to stand beside us as we face off against those who would take our food, our families and our freedom.

Our first shot may not be one of lead and powder, but it needs to be fired.  If you are reading this, and you agree that the government is spiralling out of control, you ARE the resistance.

Where Did All the Patriots Go?

Once upon a time, in 1775, a shot was fired across the North Bridge in Lexington, Massachusetts.

That shot was fired from the hunting rifle of an early American farmer and began the Battle of Lexington Green to defend against the British invasion that put food and families at risk.

The first American Revolution was fought by ordinary men, fathers and sons roused from their sleep by the peal of church bells and the beat of drums.  They sought nothing more than to defend their homes and families from the invasion and subjugation of the British army. 

The early colonists who fought this fight were looking for freedom from unfair taxation, freedom from being jailed for voicing dissent against the British, and freedom to make decisions, without restrictions imposed by an imperial government looking for money earned by American sweat.

Today, are we looking for anything different?

The United States government raises taxes without regard to the input of the people.  Over 40,000 new laws were passed in 2011, making it difficult to step out your front door without committing some type of infraction. Indeed, the government is now even in our homes, installing mandatory Smart Meters to monitor our usage of electricity, proposing bills to monitor our internet and media freedoms, and passing the notorious NDAA so that they can haul away dissenting American citizens in the middle of the night without regard for the principles that our nation was founded on.  The government is going after one right after another as the attack on our Constitution grows.

Nearly 240 years ago regular people fought against overwhelming odds to provide the freedoms that we have enjoyed.

Now we are being invaded again.  Now our liberty is again at risk.

Where are the Patriots of today?  What shots are being fired against the tyranny of the US government?  When are the ordinary people of our country going to stand up, despite the odds, and reclaim our legacy of freedom, fought and won through blood soaking into our soil so many years ago.?

A shot must be fired before it's too late.  The time for revolution is now.  Don't let your grandchildren wonder, "Where did all the Patriots go?" 

The unborn Americans of tomorrow deserve the freedoms that have been fought and won before.

The battle has begun.  Will you stand up and fight?

You Say You Want a Revolution......

Quiet revolutions are springing up everywhere.  There is an uprising afoot that is challenging the new laws because people from all walks of life are saying......

NO MORE

to the United States government.

For example......

HACKERS UNITE.....  With the threat of the SOPA bill making time short, hackers around the world are feverishly working to create a fallback internet infrastructure that cannot be censored.  The Hackerspace Global Grid is being created by some of the best minds in cyberspace.

OVER 100 MILLION FEWER AIR TRAVELERS........Statistics right from the US government show a distinct drop in air travel between 2000 and 2011.  As the TSA Gestapo increases their sexual assault against passengers, more people are choosing other methods of travel,  This definitely affects the economy, as American Airlines is just the latest in a long list to go belly up since 9/11.

MONTANA BEGINS THE PROCESS TO RECALL CONGRESSMEN......After the atrocity of the NDAA passed both the House and the Senate, fed up Montanans pulled out their Constitution and began the process. 

THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT......While you may not agree with the goals or the financial backing, you can't argue with the numbers.  The Occupy movement mobilized people across the world to stand up to the PTB through protests and civil disobedience.  Today the Occupy movement begins their protest against NDAA, and on January 17th begins to Occupy Congress - does anyone else suspect that this might be the first public example of NDAA in action?

ALTERNATIVE MEDIA FIGHTS RON PAUL MEDIA BLACKOUT........When it became glaringly obvious that the mainstream media was doing all it could to ignore Ron Paul as a viable candidate, alternative journalists came out in droves.  He has had more coverage on blogs, Facebook and other social networking sites, and Youtube than any other candidate.  CNN was outed for editing an interview with Dr. Paul in an unflattering way.  FOX and CBS were both blasted online for virtually shunning Dr. Paul during the Republican debates, as it came to light that he received only 89 SECONDS of airtime in a November debate.

Oathkeepers Say No Many peace officers and members of Oathkeepers have signed letters of intent not to carry out orders that are in defiance of the vows they took to "protect and serve", stating that the NDAA is in direct violation of that oath.

A Declaration of the People .....All over the internet patriot bloggers and organizations are posting this declaration that they refuse to accept the unconstitutional act known as the NDAA, and that they will not aggress, but will defend their rights.

Small revolutions are breaking out all over the country as people become more and more outraged at the purposeful erosion of the Constitution by those in power. Find one you can stand behind and take part!  Start your own revolution! 

Be loud and be heard....don't let your freedoms and rights be taken away without a fight!
